The Department of Rural Development aims at distributing purified drinking water to rural areas and water supply projects will be implemented in 12 villages in Moenyo Township, Tharawady District, Bago Region during 2020-2021 FY, according to Township Department of Rural Development.
The water supply projects such as construction of 12 tube wells, 12 water tankers capable of storing 2400 gallons of water and 12 water plants will be undertaken with K 144 million allocated by funds of Union and K 72 million allocated by funds of regional government. Upon completion, a total of 5281 people from 1378 households in the villages will be available drinking water in all seasons.
