A ceremony to sign implementation of bancassurance between Young Insurance Co., Ltd and SME Development Bank was held at 10 am on 20 October at Chatrium Hotel, Yangon.
At the ceremony, Senior General Manager U Aung Soe Oo of Young Insurance Company and CEO Dr Zayar Nyunt of SME Development Bank signed the agreement.
“The SME Development Bank has constantly been striving for the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Now the bank will cooperate with our Young Insurance Company to provide a high living standard and a secure future for the people of Myanmar to provide better service for Myanmar nationals. Shortly, the general insurance products and life insurance product can be bought at SME Development Bank and Young Insurance,” said U Aung Soe Oo, Senior General Manager of Young Insurance Company.
With the widely providing of those insurance products by the SME Development Bank, the bank will be able to provide one-stop bank services and insurance services for the customers. As a consequence, the customers will be able to access two types of services at the same place and buy eight types of general insurance and 19 types of life insurance, it is learnt.
