Dala, 8 October
In commemoration of International Day of Older Persons which falls on October 1, officials from the township Department of Social Welfare and General Administration Department paid a domiciliary visit to pay respects to two elderly people in the town of Dala, Yangon Region on 3 October.
Then, officials presented cash aid and remembrance gifts to two elderly people named U Shwe Byine, 103, and Daw Tin Shwe, 109, who live in Dala.
