South Korea reported 9,896 new COVID-19 cases as of midnight Monday compared to 24 hours ago, raising the total number of infections to 18,339,319, the health authorities said Tuesday.
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Africa reached 11,770,537 as of Sunday evening, the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) said.
A total of 17,073 new COVID-19 cases were recorded during the past 24 hours in India, taking the total tally to 43,407,046, data released by the Health Ministry showed on Monday.
