An event to donate cash assistance to fire victims was held in Ward-1, NyaungU Township in Mandalay Region yesterday morning.

A house belonging to a local named U Aung Ko Win in Ward-1, NyaungU Township was burnt down at about 2:30 p.m. on 28 October. The fire is believed to have started while a child was playing with the fire. Volunteers from a local philanthropic association made a domiciliary visit to the location where fire broke out to donate cash assistance for buying construction materials to rebuild the victim’s home.
