Myitkyina, 5 February

A ceremony to wrap up basic first aid training course, organized by Myitkyina University, was held at the meeting hall of Myitkyi University in the town of Myitkyina, Kachin State this morning.

At the event, members of Red Cross Society sang a song of Red Cross Society. Then, President of Myanmar Red Cross Society Dr. Maung Maung Myint and Deputy Rector of Myitkyina University Dr. Aye Aye Ko delivered speeches. Next, President of Myitkyina University Red Cross branch Dr. San Shwe clarified the purpose of the training course.

This was followed by the presentation of completion certificates to the trainees by official. Then, officials presented awards to outstanding trainees.

The seven-day training course which ran from January 31 to February 5 was attended by 81 trainees from Myitkyina University and taught by seven instructors.—Moe Kya(Myitkyina)
