Tharlin-Myinthar Myittha Bridge was constructed in Gangaw Township and the construction was completed on 30 September. Therefore, the traffic has been allowed to cross the bridge starting from 14 October.

The old suspension bridge was constructed in 2005 and it was eroded by flooding. Accordingly, the new bridge was constructed with K 900 million allotted by funds of Magway Region Government in 2018-2019 FY, K 307 million allocated by funds of Magway Region Government in 2019-2020 FY and K 320 million allocated by funds of Gangaw Township Department of Rural Development in 2019-2020 FY.

The construction was started from 10 March, 2019 and it was completed on 30 September, 2020. Upon completion, it will benefit the socioeconomic development of local people and bring safe and convenient transportation to the local residents.
