Under the COVID-19 Economic Relief Plan, the government is providing cash aids to the elderly people between 80 and 85 years old across the nation. In Kantbalu Township, Sagaing Region, the officials made a domiciliary visit to provide cash aids to 40 elderly people in the Ward-2 in the town of Kantbalu.

In the township, a total of 2161 elderly people were provided with K 30,000 of cash aids per person.
