A ceremony to provide cash aids to fire victims in Nammawpyin village, Sonelaw village-tract, Mongkaing Township, Shan State (South) was held at Township General Administration Department.

Officials from Loilem District Department of Disaster Management provided rescue kits with 22 items and cash aids for purchasing rice and building materials to 12 fire victims from three households.

The fire was triggered by the lighted candle at an altar of the house of Daw May Yu in the village and the fire engulfed three houses.
