With the aim of distributing 24-hour electricity to rural areas, Sidoktaya Township Department of Rural Development is undertaking rural electrification project in Nyaunggone village in Sidoktaya Township, Magway Region. Now, the installation of 400 V transmission line has been completed by hundred percent, according to the Township DRD.

The Emerald Green Project was implemented with 30 million in the village starting from 2016-2017 FY. The installation of transmission line was undertaken with K 5 million, interest of the project and K 15 million, public contributions starting from the third week of September. Now, a total of 164 households will be available electricity, according to an official from the Department.
