Kyaukpadaung, November 11

The Myanma Agriculture Development Bank branch in Kyaukpadaung Township, Mandalay Region, has been issuing agricultural loans for winter crops to the local farmers since November 10.

The MADB branch in Kyaukpadaung Township has set a target of disbursing a total of Ks 700 million of agricultural loans for winter crops to 1,700 farmers in 16 village tracts in 2020. Ks 19.4 million of agricultural loans were doled out to 147 acres of chickpeas and 47 acres of sunflowers by 60 farmers in Mrauk Taw village, said U Win Htay Oo, branch manager of the MADB.
