Incessant rains since September 23 have caused the floods and landslides, blocking 27 roads and floating two bridges away.


The damaged road sections are located on a road connecting Nagmon Township with Pannandin Town, said U Zaw Yar Sin, an engineer from the township Department of Road. The damaged road sections were repaired by employees from the Department of Road with the use of a backhoe. Staff from the the department rebuilt the floating bridges and repaired the damaged road sections.


The repair of damaged roads was completed in the first week of November and it can now be used, according to the official.
