Paletwa, November 19

The World Food Programme (WFP) provided food supplies to the internally displaced people (IDPs) in Paletwa Township, Chin State.

The event was held at the township indoor stadium in Paletwa Township on November 18. The IDPs and their children under five years old were furnished with food supplies such as rice, cooking oil, iodine salt, legumes, nutritious food and milk powder.

There are 4,797 IDPs from 1,097 households currently taking shelter at six relief camps in Paletwa Township.
