Hopong, 7 January

A combined team comprising police members from Hopong and Taunggyi Townships and security force from Military Computer and Technology Institute in Hopong destroyed 16 acres of blooming poppies in Hopong Township, Southern Shan State from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on 6 January.

Authorities reprotedly destroyed 902 poppy plantation between November 27, 2020 and January 6,  2021 in Hopong Township, Shan State (South).—Township IPRD
