A mountain, namely Ashae-Myin-Anaut-Myint, in Danu Self-Administered Zone is now alive with locals since October as its environment is attractive to the visitors until March every year.
With an altitude of 7,752-ft, the mountain is an attraction for tourists, climbers, hill walkers and local people for the night stay, while the locals opted for their day trip from 5 am to 6 pm.
The top of the mountain can be reached from three routes—Pindaya, Ywangan and Yaksawk townships through villages on the way.
Rhododendrons trees fully blossom at the mountain in open season, and it is also an attraction for both local and foreign visitors, creating employment opportunities for the indigenous people of Danu, Taungyoe, PaO and Palaung etc.—Aung Ko Oo (Pindaya)
