With the aim of solving water scarcity in summer season, tube wells and related works are being undertaken in three villages in Taungdwingyi Township, Magway Region, according to Township Department of Rural Development.
Digging tube wells and construction of water plants and water tankers are being conducted with K 78 million allocated by funds of the Department of Rural Development in Pyokhintike, Kyaungtawyar and Paypinya villages in order to distribute purified drinking water in all seasons. The projects are being implemented starting from second week of December.
Upon completion, a total of 3400 people from 726 households will be available purified drinking water in all season.
