Old bullets were unearthed in a plot in Wunzin Ward, Meiktila Township on 24 January evening.

U Maung Pu, the owner of the plot discovered the old bullets while he was digging the ground to construct a new house. Upon information received, police officers from the township rushed to the scene and investigated 117 old bullets which were supposed to be 303 rifle bullets and seven ammunition shells. Afterwards, the unearthed bullets and ammunition shells were handed over to officials from No.911 Field Engineering Corps.
