A ceremony to furnish relief items to internally displaced people was held in Ngwepyaw Sanpya village, Myitkyina Township, Kachin State yesterday.

At the event, Dr. J Kaw Bu, Kachin State Chief Minister’s wife and group met with IDPs in the village and spoke words of encouragement to them. Afterwards, they donated 28 bags of rice, 17 pairs of relief items, household goods, school and health materials to 89 people  who moved from six IDP camps in Myitkyina and Winemaw Townships
