An event to inaugurate a new indoor stadium was held in Salingyi Township, Sagaing Region on the morning of January 28.

The new indoor stadium was formally opened by Sagaing Region MPs U Aung Aung and U Ko Ko Aung, Director of the Sports and Physical Education Department U Kyaw Min Than, Vice Chairman of the district management committee Assistant Commissioner U Chit Ko Ko, and Township Administrator U Hsan Myint by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.

The sports facility was built by a private construction company at a cost of over Ks. 261 million allocated by the local government in the fiscal year 2019-2020.
