Development Supervisory Office under the Shan State Ministry of Security and Border Affairs in Kengtung is building two rural bridges in Mongphyat Township in the current financial year.

Two rural bridges are being built by a private construction company on an inter-village road in Mongphyat Township. A 70 ft. long reinforced concrete bridge and a 20 ft. long reinforced concrete facility are under construction by spending Ks. 51.437 million along the rural road, said U Hsan Nyunt Swe, an assistant director from the township development supervisory office.

Once completed, more than 1,500 local people from eight villages will be able to use two new rural bridges in all seasons with greater ease.
