A fire drill, jointly organized by the township Fire Services Department and Development Affairs Committee, was conducted in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event about the risks of fire at the compound of Myoma Market in the town of Kyangin, Hinthada District in Ayeyarwady Region yesterday.

At the event, firefighters from the township Fire Services Department orchestrated how to use fire extinguishers and fire engines when a fire breaks out in the area. Next, local people at the market practically extinguished fire using a fire extinguisher.

Also present on the occasion were the township Administrator U Kyaw Kyaw Lwin, Deputy Administrator U Tun Thant Zin Myo, Executive Officer U Htay Myint Aung and staff from the township Development Affairs Committee, firefighters and locals.
