With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, loans to implement emerald green projects were disbursed to local people at the meeting room of Department of Rural Development in Singu Township, Mandalay Region this morning.

At the event, staff officer of the township DRD Daw Mya Mya Win clarified the purpose of the project, and explained the rules and regulations of the emerald green projects to be abode by the rural people and undertaking work processes in the township under the projects.

Afterwards, officials from the township DRD handed over K 30.0 million each to members of village emerald green project committee from Myathidar Village and Shwegondaing village in the township.
