Village development projects will be implemented in 79 villages in Thayet District, Magway Region, according to District Department of Rural Development.

The developmental works will be undertaken in the villages with K 790 million of funds of VDP and public contributions. The construction of rural roads and bridges, water supply projects, electricity supply projects and other developmental works will be conducted with technical aids of the Township DRD.
