With a view to improving job opportunity for rural people and their socio-economic status, the township Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation organized a training course on carpentry and masonry at B.E.H.S in Sawlaw Nauk Inn Village in Lahe Township, Naga Self-Administered Zone of Sagaing Region yesterday.


At the event, headmaster of the Training School for Development of Nationalities Youths U Tin Win delivered an opening speech and urged the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more incomes in their family.


The fifteen-day training course is being attended by 20 trainees from the village in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
