Well-known places have been allowed to reopen on 8 February following a slight fall in the spread of coronavirus cases in Taunggyi Township, Shan State.
But officials the township committee on COVID-19 control, prevention and treatment urged all people to strictly adhere to the safety measures set by the Ministry of Health and sports to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
Under the easing, the famous places such as pagodas and other religious sites are allowed to reopen under strict precautionary measures.—Sai Tha Kyaw (Taunggyi)
