All Basic Education Schools in Yaekyi Towship, Ayeyarwady began the enrolment process yesterday morning, and teachers conducted temperature check and distributed masks.

 

Teachers, school heads and officials from Ministry of Education have worked together to reopen schools that have been closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Schools will be reopened on 1 June in line with the COVID-19 rules and regulations, and school enrolment week is set from 24 to 31 May across the country.

 

It is reported that members of the Myanmar Police Force and relevant township administration bodies and ward and village Administrators are also providing security for the safety of the students and teachers on duty. There are a total of 259 basic education schools in Yaekyi Township. – San Tint(Yaekyi)
