In commemoration of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Informative talks on danger of narcotic drugs were conducted at the community center of the Township Information and Public Relation Department in Meiktila, Mandalay Region this morning.

First, staff officer of the Township Information and Public Relations Department U Myo Min Zaw clarified the purpose of the talks. Afterwards, Police Captain Myo Thein from Meiktila Anti-Drug Squad-55 detailed the danger of drugs, offences and penalties for drugs and prevention measures against drugs and shared knowledge about scourge of drugs.

Then, staff from the Township Information and Public Relations Department distributed leaflets on scourge of drugs among the attendees.—Thein Myint Kyaw, IPRD
