As part of efforts to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, volunteers sprayed disinfectants in ward-1 and ward-2 in the town of Mongyai, Lashio District, Shan State this morning.

In addition, volunteers from Mongyai Charitable Group sprayed disinfectants in government offices, market, roads and shops in the town.

There are reportedly 17 COVID-19 positive patients in Mongyai Township. But seven people have been successfully cured and discharged from hospital so far.—Mongyai IPRD
