With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status loans for implementation of emerald green projects were disbursed to farmers in Sapayindwin Village, Sinbaungwe Township, Magway Region this morning. The disbursement of loan is the seventh of its kind in the village.

On the occasion, an official from the Township Department of Rural Development delivered an opening speech and clarified the purpose of the project.

Afterwards, an official and staff from the Township DRD handed over a total of Ks 50 million to members of village emerald green project committee in the village. Altogether 156 people – 125 in agriculture business and 31 in livestock breeding business received loans of the project.

Staff from the Township DRD dispensed loans of the project to members of village emerald green project committee in line with Covid-19 health plans set by Ministry of Health and Sports.—Than Lwin, DRD
