Natmauk 15 September
A ceremony to provide crop compensation to farmers whose farmland destroyed due to disaster in Natmauk Township, Magway Region was held at the Township General Administration Department on 14 September.
At the ceremony, Chairman of Township Administration Council gave remarks and an official from the Township Department of Agriculture clarified the purpose of the provision of crop compensation.
A total of 10679 farmers were provided with crop compensation for 1519.51 acres of monsoon sesame, 5.79 acres of peanut and an acre of paddy and it is the eighth of its kind.
Members of Township Agricultural Land Management provided crop compensation to the farmers via respective ward and village administrators.
