Officials from the township Department of Social Welfare under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided social pension to elderly people above 85 years old in Minhla Township, Magway Region on a door to door basis yesterday.

Officials disbursed a total of K 24.3 million to elderly people in the township amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. Under this financial aid program, 813 senior citizens in the township received K 30000 each—Zar Zar(Upper Minhla)
