A ceremony to provide financial aid to pregnant women and children below two years old was held at the office of Department of Social Welfare in Naungcho Township, Kyaukme District in Shan State(North) yesterday.

Under this cash aid program, over 1000 pregnant women and children below two years old in the Township received Ks 45000 each for the month of October, November and December in 2020-2021 FY.

There are reportedly 1428 pregnant women and 2905 children blow two years old in Naungcho Township.—Htwe Nge(IPRD)
