Tachileik 1 November

Torrential rain hit Tachileik in Shan State (East) on early morning of November 1 caused flash flood of Maesai Creek. As a consequence, water entered into low-lying areas in the town. 

Water entered into low-lying areas near Maesai Creek and the water level of the town has exceeded one foot over its danger level. The ground situation was inspected by Township authorities and departmental officials. The flood victims were removed to safety places with the help of officials and volunteers.
