Village development projects will be conducted in five villages in Paung Township, Thaton District, Mon State during mini-budget year of 2021-2022, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

With the aim of upgrading the living standard of rural people and narrowing gaps between rural and urban areas, village development projects will be conducted with K 50 million allocated by funds of VDP and public contributions. 

The developmental projects will be conducted in Kalachaung, Hlayupine, Latpan, Kanbyu, Warehyue(2) villages in the township with the technical aids of the Township Department of Rural Development.
