As of November 23, a total of 5284 confirmed COVID-19 positive patients have been discharged from hospitals in Kaya State after tested negative for the virus in the second round of testing.

There are currently 217 confirmed COVID-19 positive in hospital with COVID-19 in Kayah State and receiving medical treatment in relevant hospitals including 60 patients in Loikaw people’s hospital, 16 in Positive Medical Centre in Loikaw, 52 in Bawlakhe, 38 in Hpasaung, nine in Mese, 41 in Shyadaw, and one in Moebye, according to the Township committee on Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment.

As of November 23, of 5727 COVID-19 positive patients in Kayah State, 226 patients were reportedly died.—District IPRD
