First dose of COVID-19 vaccination program was conducted at gymnasium in Pyitawaye Ward in Bawdwin village in Namtu Township, Kyaukme District, Shan State (North) on November 30.

The vaccination program was conducted by members of Township Committee on prevention and control of COVID-19 and medical staff. A total of 682 people over 18 years old receive first dose of COVID-19 vaccines, according to an official from the Township Department of Public Health. In Namtu Township, a total of 10306 people including local people and students have received first dose of COVID-19 vaccines.
