With the aims at narrowing gaps between rural and urban areas and upgrading socioeconomic development of rural people, developmental tasks will be implemented in villages in Naga Self-Administered Zone, according to the Department of Rural Development in Naga Self-Administer Zone.

 

The development works will be implemented in 17 villages in Lahe, Leshi and Nanyun Townships in the region with K 170 million allocated by funds of VDP. The works including water supply projects, construction of multi-purpose halls, rural road and bridge, staff housing and school buildings will be implemented in the villages under the supervision of the officials from the Department of Rural Development. 

 

Members of Township Administration Council and departmental personnel selected the villages to implement developmental works in accordance with rules and regulations, according to an official from the Department.
