Electricity supply project is being conducted in Tawtayagyi village in Pathwe village-tract in Pantanaw Township, Ayeyawady Region and now it is nearing completion, according to Township Department of Rural Development.
The installation of electric pole and power lines was undertaken with K 5.30 million of interest of the project during 2017-2018 FY and the installation of a transformer was conducted with K 7.50 million of funds of the project and K 6.15 million of public contributions during 2020-2021 FY. The installation of the transformer was conducted from the first week of December and now the project has been completed, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
Upon completion, local residents from 417 households in the village will have access to 24- hour electricity and it will bring socioeconomic development to the local residents.
