A ceremony to wrap up a basic motorcycle repair course was held at the meeting room of the Township Department of Rural Development in Laymyathnar Township, Ayeyarwady Region this morning.
At the event, member of the Township Administration Council U Tin Oo gave a speech and called on the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training course to generate more income in their families and gave words of thanks to course instructors and the trainees.
Afterwards, an official from the Township Department of Rural Development clarified the purposes of the training course and explained matters relating to the course. This was followed by the presentation of certificate of completion to the trainees by officials.
The twenty-day training course which ran from December 8 to 27 was attended by 20 trainees from village and wards in the Township.
The Township Department of Rural Development organized a basic motorcycle repair course at its office on 8 December with the aims of improving the income of rural people and creating job opportunities for them.—Kyaw Hein, IPRD
