Rural roads in four villages in Meiktila Township, Mandalay Region are being upgraded during 2021-2022 FY, according to Township Department of Rural Development. 

The Department of Rural Development is implementing village development projects such as upgrade of rural roads, water distribution project, and electricity supply project with K 10 million each and public contributions. Now, developmental tasks are being undertaken in Kwatnge, Thayetkan, Nyaungbintha, Latpantaie (West) villages starting from December 15. 

In Meiktila Township, village development projects have been implemented in 64 villages starting from 2017-2018 FY until 2020-2021 FY.
