Local people above 18 years old received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Thongwa Township in Yangon Region at about 9:00 am on 10 January. 

Under the supervision of the Township Committee on COVD-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment, healthcare workers administered Covishield vaccine to local people in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.—U Kyaw San(Thongwa)
