Local people received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State yesterday.

 

Health workers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of local people in collaboration with staff from the Township General Administration Department and volunteers, and watched them for 30 minutes after administering the vaccine.

 

As of January 18, a total of 2475 people received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in Maungdaw Township. Medical workers vaccinated 1505 people with the vaccine on 18 January in line with Covid-19 health guidelines in the Township.—Thet Lwin Soe(District IPRD)
