With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, the Township Department of Rural Development is implementing a rural road in Nyaung Oke Village in Myaing Township, Magway Region and now, all the projects have been completed 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.

The gravel type road measuring two miles long, 12 ft. wide and nine inches thick is being constructed with Ks. 39.9 million of DRD’s allocated funds in 2021-2022 FY. 

The road will benefit 800 acres of farmlands of local people in the village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner. –Nilar Htway(DRD)
