With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and boosting the socio-economic status of rural people, construction works of a concrete road is being carried out in ward-2 in Shanywathi sub-Towship, Hpa-an District, Kayin State.

A congcrete road measuring 235 ft. Long, 14 ft. wide and six inches thick is being constructed with Ks. 9.4 million allotted by Township Development Committee in 2021-2022 fiscal year. Now, all the projects have been completed by 80 percent.

Once completed, the road will benefit rural people in the sub-Township.—Aye Aye Nwe(IPRD)
