A total of 22682 people including Buddhist monks and students have been vaccinated COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region, according to U Ye Ko Ko, chairman of the Township Committee on COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment.

There are 99052 people who are eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccine in Myinmu Township. Out of them, 22682 people have been vaccinated COVID-19 so far.

In addition, local people above 50 years old and civil servants aged 60 and above in the Township received their booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine starting from February 22.

Medical workers conducted vaccination campaign with the collaboration of GAD staff, members of the Township Red-Cross Society and volunteers in line with COVID-19 health guidelines set by Ministry of Health.—Aung Soe Pe(Minmu IPRD)
