The Department of Rural Development is undertaking water distribution projects in rural areas across the nation. Now, the Township Department of Rural Development is implementing water supply projects in Kyaung village in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region. 

The projects including construction of a water tank capable of storing 5000 gallons of water and a water plant and installation of water pipeline are being undertaken with K 17.621 million allocated by funds of the Township DRD. The officials from the Township DRD inspected the completion of the project and called for the timely completion of the project.

Upon completion, a total of 1804 people from 369 households in the village will receive adequate drinking water in all seasons.
