THE third-place and final matches of the NSDF Futsal Invitation Championship 2022, or the Thai Invitational Futsal Championship, was held on 20 March and the Myanmar team lost in the third place match.

The Myanmar team played against Oman in the third-placed match and lost in the penalty shootouts.

Myanmar and Oman drew 3 goals in normal match and were decided by the penalty shootouts.

In the first half, both teams drew 1-1. The second half ended in a two-goal draw, with Oman winning by 5-4 and finishing third place with a total of 8-7 in the penalty shootouts.

Myo Thet Aung, Chan Thar and Naing Lin Tun Kyaw scored important goals for team Myanmar during the match against Oman. The Myanmar Futsal squad entered the tournament in preparation for the ASEAN Futsal Championship in April and finished as a fourth placed team.
