MYANMAR received 2,242,800 doses of CoronaVac (Sinovac) COVID-19 vaccines donated by the Global Alliance for Vaccine and Immunization-GAVI (COVAX Facility) yesterday evening.

The vaccines were transported by a flight from Sichuan Airlines 3U 3929 and were systematically received by Myanmar officials at the Yangon International Airport.

It is reported that the vaccines will be kept under a specified temperature and will be used in the vaccination programme implemented by the Ministry of Health. — MNA
