An inauguration of a rural road took place in Kyokbinwine Village, Tharrawaddy Township in Bago Region on 1 April.

 

Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Zin Min Htay and members, staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development U Ba Nya cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the road. 

 

Rural road measuring 4515 ft. long, 12 ft. wide and two ft. thick involved a reinforced concrete bridge and four box culverts on the road was constructed by Lucky Bago construction Company with Ks. 124 million. 

 

The road will benefit 3000 local people from ten villages and 1000 acres of farmland, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Zay Ya Tun (Gyobingauk, IPRD)
