A ceremony to provide fertilizer to farmers whose croplands were destroyed by natural disasters was held at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in ZegonTownship, Bago Region on 2 February.

At the ceremony, Township Administrator U Nyi Nyi Aung delivered an opening speech and an official from the Department of Agriculture explained the purpose of provisions. Afterwards, local authorities presented bags of fertilizer for 1,454 acres of damaged farmlands from four village-tracts.

The fertilizer for 1,454 acres of disaster-affected farmlands were handed over through village administrators.—Tint Swe (Zegon)
